The BME688 Environmental Sensor Probe is a compact digital environmental sensing solution that combines multiple measurements in a single device. It is designed for applications that need temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure data without using separate sensors, helping simplify system design and reduce component count.
The integrated gas sensing element adds air-quality capability by responding to VOCs and other gases in the surrounding air. With Bosch software support, the sensor data can also be used for functions such as IAQ evaluation and gas-related environmental analysis, depending on the sensor model.
Features
- Combines temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure sensing in one compact device.
- Reduces the need for multiple separate environmental sensors in a system.
- Provides digital sensor data directly to the host controller, simplifying signal processing.
