The 7Semi BME690 Sensor Nano Breakout Qwiic integrates Bosch Sensortec’s latest environmental sensing technology with 7Semi’s rugged, plug-and-play breakout design. It combines digital sensing of temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and gas (VOC/VSC detection) into a compact, low-power device. With both I²C, wide voltage compatibility 3.3v, and built-in Bosch’s BSEC software, this module is ideal for high-accuracy, low-power embedded applications.

Key Features

  • 4-in-1 Environmental Sensing: Temperature, humidity, pressure, and gas (VOC, CO, H₂S, and more)

  • Low Power Modes: Down to 0.05 mA in ultra-low power gas sensing mode

  • Flexible Interface: I²C (up to 3.4 MHz) Qwiic

  • Extended Operating Range: -40 to +85 °C, 0–100% rH, 300–1100 hPa

  • Output Metrics: IAQ Index, bVOC & CO₂ equivalents, gas resistance, ambient readings

Applications

  • Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

  • Smart Home Automation

  • Wearables (e.g., breath checkers, smartwatches)

  • Diaper & Spoiled Food Detection (via VSC)

  • Industrial or Asset Tracking (environmental sensing)

  • Fire and Gas Leak Detection

What’s Included

  • 1x 7Semi BME690 Digital Sensor Nano Breakout Qwiic
