The 7Semi SCD40 CO₂, Temperature and Humidity Sensor Breakout Mini is a compact environmental sensing module designed for accurate monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO₂), temperature, and relative humidity. It uses photoacoustic sensing technology to provide reliable CO₂ measurements while integrating temperature and humidity sensing for environmental monitoring and on-chip signal compensation.

The module provides a specified CO₂ measurement range of 400 to 2,000 ppm with an accuracy of ±(50 ppm + 5% of reading) and supports a wide CO₂ output range of 0 to 40,000 ppm. It communicates through a digital I²C interface and operates from a 2.4 V to 5.5 V supply, allowing easy integration with common microcontrollers and embedded systems.

With integrated automatic self-calibration, compact construction, and simultaneous CO₂, temperature, and humidity measurements, the module is suitable for indoor air-quality monitoring, smart ventilation, HVAC systems, environmental monitoring, building automation, and IoT applications.
