The Temperature and Humidity Probe is a digital environmental sensing probe designed for continuous measurement of temperature and relative humidity. It communicates through a standard I²C digital interface, allowing direct connection to microcontrollers, embedded controllers, and data acquisition systems with minimal external circuitry.
Unlike analog humidity and temperature sensors, the probe provides direct digital measurement data, helping reduce errors caused by analog signal noise, voltage drop, and external ADC conversion. The probe supports 0 to 100% RH measurement and a temperature operating range of approximately −40°C to +110°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental monitoring applications.
An integrated heater provides multiple heating levels for applications where condensation or high humidity may affect measurements. The digital I²C interface also allows both temperature and humidity data to be read over the same two communication lines, simplifying wiring and system integration.
