The 7Semi DC-DC Buck Converter is a compact and powerful step-down module that converts 7V to 40V input into a stable 5V output with up to 3A current. It is built using the AP64500 synchronous buck converter, which gives high efficiency and low heat during operation. The module provides clean and stable power, making it suitable for systems that need a reliable 5V supply from higher voltage sources. Its ready-to-use design makes it easy to integrate into projects without extra components. This converter is useful for industrial systems, battery-powered setups, automation projects, and other applications where a strong and stable 5V power source is needed.
Features:
• Wide Input Range: Works with 7V to 60V DC input.
• Stable 5V Output: Provides clean 5V output up to 3A.
• High Efficiency: Synchronous design reduces power loss and heating.
• High Current Support: Can handle heavy loads without voltage drop.
Protection features
Current Limit Protection
The AP66300 continuously monitors the output current and automatically limits excessive current to protect the device. During a prolonged overload or short circuit, it enters Hiccup Mode, periodically restarting until the fault is removed.
Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO)
The AP66300 automatically shuts down when the input voltage, preventing unstable operation. It restarts automatically once the input voltage returns to a safe operating level.
Thermal Protection
The AP66300 includes built-in thermal protection that automatically shuts down the converter if it becomes too hot and safely restarts once it cools down.

Good purchase
Needed a board for my lab and this fit the bill. Using it with an Arduino and the library worked without modification. Definitely recommend this one.
