7Semi BME680 Sensor Probe Plastic I2C Environmental Sensor

The 7Semi BME680 Environmental Sensor I²C Probe is a compact 4-in-1 environmental sensing solution designed to measure temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and gas/air-quality parameters. Built around the Bosch Sensortec BME680, it combines multiple environmental measurements in a single remote probe, making it suitable for indoor air-quality monitoring, HVAC systems, smart buildings, environmental monitoring, IoT devices, and industrial automation applications.

The probe communicates through a digital I²C interface and provides calibrated temperature, humidity, pressure, and gas-resistance measurements. Its integrated gas-sensing element responds to VOC-related changes in the surrounding air, while compatible BSEC software can process the sensor data to provide an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) index.

The sensing assembly features a ventilated plastic housing that allows ambient air to reach the sensing element while providing mechanical protection to the internal sensor. A 1 m cable enables flexible placement of the sensing point away from the host electronics, making the probe convenient for remote and continuous environmental monitoring.
