The 7Semi LM73100 Ideal Diode Protection Module is a compact power protection board designed to provide reverse current blocking and reverse polarity protection with significantly lower power loss than traditional diode-based solutions. Based on the Texas Instruments LM73100 ideal diode controller, the module supports input voltages from 3.3V to 20V and load currents up to 5A.

The module automatically allows current flow in the forward direction while preventing unwanted reverse current from flowing back to the power source. This makes it suitable for battery-powered equipment, industrial systems, embedded electronics, robotics, IoT devices, power multiplexing circuits, and backup power applications.

In addition to ideal diode functionality, the board includes adjustable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and overvoltage lockout (OVLO) protection. A Power Good output provides status indication, while the IMON pin enables analog current monitoring for system diagnostics and control.
