The 7Semi SGP40 VOC Sensor Breakout integrates Sensirion’s SGP40 MOx gas sensor for monitoring VOC-related changes in indoor air quality. It communicates through a digital I²C interface, operates at 3.3 V, and includes a Qwiic-compatible connector for easy integration with development boards and embedded systems. The sensor’s raw signal can be processed using Sensirion’s VOC Index algorithm to generate a VOC Index from 0 to 500, providing an easy way to track changes in indoor air quality.
