The 7Semi INA169 Analog Current Sensor Module is a compact and highly accurate high-side current sensing solution designed for monitoring DC current in power management, battery-operated devices, industrial systems, robotics, and embedded electronics. Built around the Texas Instruments INA169 current shunt monitor, this module enables precise current measurement while supporting common-mode voltages up to 60V, making it suitable for both low-voltage and high-voltage applications.
Unlike digital current sensors that require communication protocols, the INA169 provides a simple analog output proportional to the measured current, allowing seamless integration with ADC-equipped microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and other embedded platforms. The onboard precision shunt resistor and current-sense amplifier deliver reliable measurements with minimal power loss and excellent stability.
The module features high-side current sensing capability, allowing current measurements without interrupting the system ground path. With low quiescent current consumption, adjustable gain through an external load resistor, and support for a wide operating voltage range, the INA169 is an excellent choice for battery monitoring, power supply analysis, solar energy systems, motor control applications, and smart energy management solutions.
