The 7SEMI AS7343 Spectral Sensor Module is based on the ams OSRAM AS7343, a compact multi-channel sensor that provides 14 independent spectral channels spanning UV, visible, and near-IR ranges (350–1000 nm).

Designed for color analysis, material classification, light calibration, and spectral fingerprinting, this breakout board makes integration easy with a 3.3 V I²C interface, breakout headers, and mounting holes. It also features an onboard user LED and interrupt pin for event-driven designs.

FAQ

Q1. What microcontrollers can I use with this board?
Any MCU with I²C support (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi).

Q2. What is the default I²C address?
The module responds at 0x39.

Q3. Can I measure near-infrared (NIR) light?
Yes, selected channels cover up to 1000 nm.

Q4. Is there a built-in light source?
Yes, the board has a user LED for reflectance measurements.

Q5. Does it require 5 V tolerance?
No — the board is 3.3 V only, use a level shifter for 5 V systems.
