The BME688 Breakout Module is a compact 4-in-1 environmental sensor that measures temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and gas-based air quality. It combines Bosch Sensortec’s environmental sensing with AI-enabled gas scanning, allowing detection and classification of gases such as VOCs, VSCs, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen. With I²C and SPI interfaces, configurable sensing modes, and support for custom gas-scanning profiles, it is well suited for indoor air quality, smart home, IoT, portable monitoring, and research applications.
