The INA240A1 is a precision bidirectional current-sense amplifier designed for accurate current monitoring in demanding power and industrial applications. It features a fixed gain of 20 V/V, a wide −4 V to +80 V common-mode voltage range, and enhanced PWM rejection, allowing reliable current measurements even in electrically noisy switching environments. With a 400 kHz bandwidth, the device responds quickly to rapid current changes, making it particularly suitable for motor drives, solenoids, power converters, switching power supplies, and industrial control systems.

The module uses an onboard 10 mΩ shunt resistor to sense load current and provides an analog output voltage proportional to the measured current, allowing easy connection to microcontroller ADCs, data acquisition systems, and control circuits. The board provides REF1 and REF2 reference inputs for configuring the zero-current output level, enabling convenient bidirectional current measurement. Its high accuracy, fast response, wide common-mode range, and strong rejection of PWM switching transients make it well suited for real-time current monitoring, protection, feedback control, and power-management applications.
