The 7Semi 10DOF Absolute Orientation Sensor Module combines the BNO055 9-axis orientation sensor with the BMP585 barometric pressure sensor to provide a complete motion and environmental sensing solution on a compact breakout board. The BNO055 integrates a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, and 3-axis magnetometer along with an onboard processor that performs sensor fusion internally, allowing the module to output ready-to-use orientation data such as Euler angles, quaternions, gravity vector, and linear acceleration without requiring complex calculations from the main controller. The addition of the BMP585 pressure sensor enables accurate altitude and atmospheric pressure measurement, making the module suitable for drones, robotics, navigation systems, AHRS, industrial monitoring, and IoT sensing applications. With a simple I²C interface and 3.3V logic compatibility, the module integrates easily with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded controllers.
